                                                                      August 2024 Update

We hope this newsletter finds you well and having a relaxing and enjoyable summer. While work progresses on the shiny new website there have been some updates added to this current one, so please review the different areas and refamiliarize yourselves with updated documents and contacts.

As you are all hopefully aware our planning application for the first stage of our  new ground was submitted in July. As soon as we have more to share we will be excited to let everyone know, and thank everyone for their support in the meantime.

September 2024

Welcome players, parents, coaches and supporters! We hope everyone is loving the return to the pitch, we've already had some brilliant results and performances to start the season off and the club is so proud of you all. Keep up your hard work!

We would also like to take this opportunity to update you on the new ground and where we are currently at.

We have received notice that our planning application has been extended following a request from Lincolnshire Wildlife for an additional report, which will need to be conducted at our cost. Additionally, the Highways Department has requested the installation of a pathway along the road leading to the ground entrance, which will also be funded by us.

Once these requirements are addressed, we look forward to forming a dedicated fundraising committee to develop and execute initiatives that will help raise essential funds for the club. We would greatly appreciate the support of any volunteers who are interested in contributing their time and ideas.

We would also like to share the following update from the Lincolnshire FA. Designated Safeguarding Officer, Ben Pearce. has delivered training for new Respect Marshalls ahead of the start of the 2024/25 season, with the introduction of Positive Matchday Environment mandates.

The new strategy is designed to help improve matchday behaviours and touchline conduct within youth football.

It is now mandatory for every youth match to have a physical respect barrier at the side of the pitch to act as a deterrent to stop spectators from entering field of play. It also a requirement for clubs to have a Respect Marshall present at every game.
